What is self-realisation?

  • The essence of the whole Vedas is that the sadhaka must attain self-realisation.
  • The essence of the whole philosophy of sacred percepts is that the Human being must attain the state where "he is god himself" and be in that state forever.
  • The message of all yogis, all preceptors of spiritual wisdom, all devotees and all incarnations of god is that "the sadhaka must attain eternal joy".
  • The goal of all religions and practices is to attain Enlightment.
  • Our aim is not just to obtain experiences (in meditation), but to achieve "THE ONE" which is beyond experience. By achieving this you realise that there is nothing like I, ME, MINE and that all relationships(family/friends) are untrue. By achieving this you realise that all existing dharma’s (virtues) are unreal.
  • To seek this Lord Buddha has renounced worldly pleasure.
  • Lord Krishna preached Bhagawatgeeta to Arjuna and Lord Shankara preached Shivageeta to Sri Rama to attain this(The ONE which is beyond experience).
  • This ONE which is beyond experience is known as Bramhanubhuti(self-realisation).

This is also called

  •              Eshwara      by    Vedas

  •              Atman         by    Sacred Percepts

  •              Guru          by    Gurugeeta

  •             Yahova        by    Jesus

  •             Fakir            by   Shirdi Sai Baba

  •            Emptiness    by   Lord Buddha

  •            Allah             by    Prophet Mohammed

  •     Shiva Paramatma  by  Brahmakumaris

In this way over time many names have been given to The ONE that is beyond experience(In fact IT is nameless, formless, and is beyond all qualities).
